The homestay is very nice. It's almost like a 3 star hotel with all the amenities. The staffs are very efficient. The owner of the homestay is very courteous. He personally came and talked with us whether we were comfortable. If I come again in Kurseong I will definitely stay in The River View Homestay.

Located a few miles ahead of the town. This little stay has everything to offer at such a great deal. Edna ji was humble enough from the time of booking until our departure in every aspect we dealt with. Homely food is available at a reasonable price. Must try: chicken phaley. In addition,the cafe on the front deck is a great add-on to the whole experience. Gigs are commonplace at the cafe. Thank you Edna ji for the beautiful song and for the stay.

Very nice Homestay. Quite rooms, situated off the road, with a beautiful view from the terrace. Out host prepared nice local food and had a plenty of stories to tell. I would stay there again.

The location is the only USP of this place. Bad Food,room service, no daily cleaning in room and lack of basic amenities like hangers for clothes. The staff and owner are very polite though and did their best but they can really improve on food since the stay is far from main market. This is not your regular hotel and you need to compromise on some things.
