The stay was comfortable and nice. The host Vikki is a very helping and friendly person. Had a great time interacting with her. She was available whenever I needed her and her apartment was completely equipped and functional. I had nice cozy and comfortable stay.

We absolutely loved this place. It was the first of many we stayed at during our trip and we couldn't start better. First of all the contact with the owner - Claudio, was great. He reached out to us just after we made the reservation and then maintained the contact up until our arrival and throughout our stay. He was very sympathetic when we had problems on the way there and waited for us long after the agreed arrival time. The building is located a little up the hill, but surprisingly close to the city centre (around 5 min walking). It is a big villa, with common area with sofas, terrace, some kitchen facilities (coffee maker, crockery, cutlery, a fridge etc. - thanks for the wine opener, that's always useful, especially in Italy :)). The room was also very spacious and had everything we needed (including two sets of pillows, depending on our preferences). The bathroom was clean and well-equipped, just the shower was very tiny and, because of that, a little uncomfortable. The place is beautifully decorated and with a lot attention to details (that is usually not that important for me, but it was really outstanding and very pleasing on the eye - even the boxes in the fridge, separate for each room, had an attached number that seemed carefully chosen to be aligning with the overall style). Even though a proper breakfast couldn't be provided due to coronavirus risk, we had eveything we needed to make our own breakfast (the coffee and biscuits were provided). We also got the water on our arrival and Claudio made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. I recommend it to everyone!

Beautiful and cosy room with comfortable bed and sofa for evening chill. Spacious, well equipped, with nice bathroom. The host willing to help in any need, explaining everything upon arrival even in late evening hours. The breakfast area is tiny, but enough for you meal. Tasty, both savory and sweet dishes.

Beautiful B+B in a restored monastery building, with loads of character, in a beautiful and very quiet and peaceful location. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was excellent. Our room even had a little balcony which we didnt expect. Camillo the owner was so lovely and gave lots of tips and history about the local area, and was very kind to let us use the pool at the other property which was a very short walk away. He laid on a great breakfast including eggs from his own chickens. From the hotel you could walk down an offroad track to the nearest Pizzeria (10mins walk down, 15mins back uphill), which was a great bonus, as the property is in a small village on the hill outside the main town. The location was great as it was so quiet and peaceful, with beautiful scenery, but rightly Camillo warned us it was up a very steep hill which was difficult with suitcases (but not impossible) when arriving by public transport into Salò. We got a taxi from the bus station when we arrived for €10, but walked with our suitcases when we left which took about 30mins with heavy cases, 20 mins without cases. In Salò you can spend time by the lake and it has all the necessary amenities. I would recommend coming by car as the best way to enjoy the area as there are limited options for public transport but it all works well and is affordable. The listing massively undersells the property, so we were very happily surprised when we arrived. Would 100% recommend and have kept the details in case we visit the area again.
