3 wonderful nights and days here! Stunning location and surroundings, extremely clean and comfortable, spacious bungalows, cozy interior, good quality bed linen and towels. Fully equipped kitchen in chalet. Delicious breakfast (yoghurt, croissants, fruits, eggs, juice, sausages, bacon etc), good cappuccino. We enjoyed time in swimming pool and near it. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Special thanks for owner and his wife for hospitality and the lunch at cyclone time. Chamarel mountain chalet is definitely one of the best places we have ever visited!

Probably the most fantastic accommodation we have ever had in our 5 years travelling. In order: breathtaking view on the benitiers island, rooftop with barbecue with a 360 view on Le Morne and the wild forest, star gazing, bats and birds everywhere, fruits offered, private balcony with everything from coffee to all amenities and laundry. Top care by the cleaning lady, felt like a 5 star resort everyday. Close to the best beach on the island for snorkeling. We also had a private boat tour with an amazing guide by Bianca, learnt so much from the island as he has years of experience living here. Keep it up!

The place was spacious and cozy, the host was really hospitable, the location is very convenient: the supermarket and restaurants are close, the beach - 7 mins away by car.

Great value rooms for those who want to visit Le Morne. We stayed at la Gaulette and absolutely loved it. It's just 5 minutes by car to the Le Morne Beach. Mathieu was very responsive and let us keep the luggage after the checkout. The rooms are great size, and you're surrounded by banana trees. The rooftop terrace is great for a drink in the evening. Would definitely stay again.

Bright, spacious apartment. The kitchen is well equipped. From a terracet tere is a view of the bay and Le Morne, beautiful sunsets. The lady gave us a canoe and we paddled to the island of Ile aux Benitieres. We were alone on the island, otherwise it is full of tourist boats. Larger store approx. 1 km away, near the restaurant. Strongly recomended.

Great French Style Breakfast and served at a convenient time for us. If you want to visit Le Morne Mountain - This Is The Place to stay. It is 2 bus stops away. Great Hosts!

We had a very relaxing stay in this charming, quaint place with a gorgeous view of Le Morne mountain. The host was very kind, helpful and commited to make sure we had an unfogetable time. She is a certified yoga teacher and there's no better way to start the day than with an early Yoga Session in a beautiful garden, right next to the ocean and hearing just singing birds around you. We wish we would have stayed longer at this wonderful place!
