Mathieu is a gentleman and an amazing host, he contacted us as he could not get back for our arrival. he shot 3 videos and sent via WhatsApp so everything was explained which was extremely helpful and thoughtful. The rooms are a good size with a lovely table and chairs out the front with sun loungers. The air con was a real added bonus. A lot of communal areas near the pool, the roof top is amazing very large and comfortable with stunning views. A lovely place for the evenings and star gazing. There is a kitchen and all amenities, however a small shopping mall is 10 minutes walk with a large supermarket, great restaurant (Enzo's) with great food and music. A pharmacy some shops and a great place for breakfast, there are many convenience stores and a few places for breakfast, lunch and dinner all 5 minutes walk. Mathieu could not be more helpful and sociable, he kindly gave advise on the area and things/excursions do do. Terrasses du Bénitier is beautiful........ a real gem.

I loved everything about this stay! The 2 bedroom apartment was comfortable, very roomy, and had everything you needed. The location was perfect. The street the apartment was located on was very quiet, safe, and within walking distance to a grocery store and plenty of restaurants. Parking available for those with cars. Bianca was so sweet and helpful getting up checked in and for anything we needed during our stay. She even helps organize trips for dolphin watching and to Benitiers Island that you can see from the apartment. We did the private Benitiers Island tour for my birthday and it was incredible. Beautiful views from the apartment and even better from the rooftop. We will stay here again!

We just simply loved it. Everything was perfect. The entire house, our apartment (no. 1.), the garden were great. Our host, Marc was very kind and helpful. Let us emphasize the cleanliness, it was accurate. And the garden. We really enjoyed sitting on "our" terrrace in the evenings. Just like in a magical garden rounded beautiful plants, cute kitties and geckos. Parking was pretty easy, just in front of the house. Location is also perfect. Hopefully, one day we can returt to Mauritius and we will definitely book again at Marc :-)

The place was spacious and cozy, the host was really hospitable, the location is very convenient: the supermarket and restaurants are close, the beach - 7 mins away by car.

The house is recently renovated and very clean, with an amazing view from each floor, particularly the terrace. The host was very welcoming, always easy to reach, and provided great assistance throughout my stay. In terms of kite rental, the equipment availability, range, and quality was great. When windy, we'd go kiting in different spots, allowing us to discover more fun new places. As a solo traveler, this was my first experience of its kind, and I couldn't be happier with my choice of Surf House. I met some wonderful people, making me feel at home during my stay. The support I received was beyond my expectations, leading me to extend my stay longer than initially planned. Surf House was surely the best choice for my trip. I am already looking forward to my next visit to Surf House. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a friendly and adventurous environment!

Bright, spacious apartment. The kitchen is well equipped. From a terracet tere is a view of the bay and Le Morne, beautiful sunsets. The lady gave us a canoe and we paddled to the island of Ile aux Benitieres. We were alone on the island, otherwise it is full of tourist boats. Larger store approx. 1 km away, near the restaurant. Strongly recomended.

We spent 3 nights in the Chalet over Christmas and we had the most wonderful time! The breakfast includes fruits from their own garden, the bed sheets felt like they were made from clouds and the staff was exceptionally friendly and competent. For Christmas Eve we had a buffet and a small dancing show and the owner showed us the stars and planets through a telescope (how cool is that?!). It is the perfect starting point for exploring the west/south, and 7 colored earth is only a few minutes away. Please be aware that there will be mosquitos but they also got you covered with spray, etc. so you wouldn't even have to bring your own. Since there are only 10 Chalets, it was nicely quiet - perfect for relaxing after f.e. hiking Le Morne. The infinity pool was definitely another highlight besides the curry we had one evening which was probably on of the best curry we had. Overall we really enjoyed our time there and the "jungly" feeling and would recommend going there :)

The place is a paradise on earth for nature lovers. My absolute favorite on the island. Iwe just loved the peace, the evening sunsets, the birds, little geckos, crabs around. The room (cabin) is absolutely wonderful with open air shower, the owners and the staff are wonderful. The place is just perfect.
