Without hesitation, it was the best hotel that we've ever experienced! The facility is located in an amazing setting (you can see the Morne Brabant, the ocean...) ; the room (African one) was awesome : very comfortable and spacious ; the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We tried once the Maurician dinner prepared by a staff member. It was really delicious and the portions were generous. It's possible to borrow a canoe to explore the surrounding area (we enjoyed a lot!). The villa offers other activities and services such as breakfast, yoga classes, massages... If you go to Mauricius, you definitely must stay at this place !

Jean Pierre and his wife Irina are wonderful human beings. It was an awesome experience. The breakfast was the most favorite part of the day. When you start the day with fresh fruit salad and an amazing crunchy baguette (the best I’ve ever had!) with butter on top of it, drink fresh coffee and share with each other about your plans for today. It felt like family time. Jean Pierre is so caring like an angel who helped me with literally everything. I felt so comfortable. It was a unique experience I will never forget.

The bed is very comfortable. Room is well equipped, clean and spacious. We felt at ease, slept well and enjoyed our stay at Le Gite du Bonheur very much. We rented our car with Le Gite which has great options for their rental. Well located to discover the West and South of the Island. Lots of hiking options and sea excursions/ activities next to the guest house. The Host is Great and will do everything possible to assist. Thank you Cody for the great hospitality.
