Unique genius loci. Birds singing in the garden, amazing views, sunsets over Le Morne. You can see the attention to detail of the owners in the rooms and outside. You can discover various artworks in the place. Thanks to Anna and Jean Pierre for allowing us to drop off our things early in the morning upon arrival and for the tips, advice and help with the convenient car rental.

We stayed at Sweet Island for a week and it was wonderful. Marie and Thierry are so great and absolute friendly hosts. The room and the large bathroom were super clean every day, we could arrange the breakfast according to our preferences, and actually all of our wishes were fulfilled! There is also a kind of little kitchen with a big refrigerator, a nespresso machine, a microwave, some glasses, eating irons (knife, spoon, fork) and plates available. The pool and the outdoor shower as well as the large garden are just gorgeous! Thierry had given us some great tips - the highlights were the kayak tour, the Tamarind waterfalls and the gorgeous beaches. Thank you Thierry and Marie for your hospitality!

Jean Pierre and his wife Irina are wonderful human beings. It was an awesome experience. The breakfast was the most favorite part of the day. When you start the day with fresh fruit salad and an amazing crunchy baguette (the best I’ve ever had!) with butter on top of it, drink fresh coffee and share with each other about your plans for today. It felt like family time. Jean Pierre is so caring like an angel who helped me with literally everything. I felt so comfortable. It was a unique experience I will never forget.

Great host. Cody has been helpful and proactive regarding the organisation of our excursions/stay. The best excursion for us has been dolphin swimming and visit the crystal rock / ile aux benitier island with the speed boat of le Le Gite du Bonheur. Big and clean room. We had our private terrace with a swimming pool view. Good and sufficient continental breakfast.

Amazing place, from room to the garden and common area, this was 100% my type of accommodation for vacation. Very chilled vibe, all guys who are working there are simply amazing and always smiling :) extra comfy bed. Ask for the room with a swing 😎

The host was very helpful and kind. Our room was quiet with a little balcony and aircon. The building has 2 communal kitchens, so great if you want to prepare your own food. It is close to all restaurants and the beach.
