The location is excellent, at a 10-minute walk from the city center. The neighborhood is very picturesque and quiet. You have the whole ground floor of the house only for you, including the room, hallway and bathroom. There is also a private entrance so you do not share any space with the owner who lives above. Excellent breakfast buffet and dinner. Very pleasant room, we had one of the small rooms, but it was still perfectly comfortable, and the colour scheme and fabrics are well chosen to give a feel of luxury. Lovely, beautifully furnished building, enjoyed the spacious and quiet bar area with a large lounge and library. Gym and sauna also very clean and well appointed.

The modest apartment is part of a converted house in a quaint terrace of housing. The apartment is spacious for two persons but the decor a bit bland. A full kitchen area. Definitely a great location for tourist sightseeing. The waterfront, ferries, fish market, city centre, funicular railway, Bryggen are all within easy walking distance. Supermarket and bakers round the corner.

Fabulous place to stay in beautiful Bergen. Great location. Excellent breakfast and very comfortable, quiet room. Could mind our luggage for us before we boarded the evening Hurtigruten Coastal Express. Easy walk from the train station and also easy walk to Hurtigruten.

Nice quiet location on the water front. Rooms were clean and had air conditioning. Bed was large and comfy. Staff were wonderful and there were a few times we made use of the excellent breakfast that they can provide. Great location, 30 minutes casual walk to the town center, or a few minutes walk to the tram.

Really good spot, felt like a quiet, charming neighbourhood but only 10 mins walk from centre and harbour. Staff very helpful and friendly and breakfast brilliant with loads of choice. The chef even came out and asked me if there was anything I wanted that wasn’t there (there wasn’t). For what was pretty much the cheapest hotel in my search it could not have been better. Highly recommended.
