Cosy, comfortable clean. Open fires. Great food in restaurant for evening meal and breakfast. Fabulous place to stay with onsite parking.

The gardens are beautiful and it was lovely to sit beside a roaring fire with a glass of wine. The bedroom was charming, with a beautiful garden view, the beds were comfy and the bathroom was quaint with a fantastic shower. All the staff members we encountered were welcoming and friendly.

The property is run by wonderful local people who pay great attention to detail. The room includes toiletries and a bathrobe, making it comfortable to head to the hot tub. The breakfast is delicious - you feel pampered and taken care of as if you're in a movie, yet somehow it also feels like home :) There's a nice walk near the lodging which we recommend before breakfast :)
