First impressions count. As I arrived I was greeted by Maggie who was very friendly and showed me around, before Tony arrived and welcomed me with a much appreciated cold beverage! My hosts were engaging and warm, and I felt at ease and comfortable immediately. I had asked to dine with Maggie and Tony both evenings and I was very glad I did. They are both great cooks and the whole evening felt much more personal, and preferable to an evening in a restaurant. Tony made breakfast both days, which was a feast for the eyes as well as in the traditional sense!

Everything, from a warm welcome, a beautifully restored house with original furniture & decorations, the lovely, modern bathroom, a fantastic breakfast! And Tony (sadly Maggie was out of town) was such a great host!

A gorgeous olde world b"n"b, packed with books and beautiful knick knacks. There is plenty of room with a sunny deck, overlooking a gorgeous garden. The bed was so comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful with home made jams and local honey and fruits, and it's peaceful and quiet. A short distance to the local pub with lots of character and delicious local food.

We had a totally lovely experience staying at Deb's Old Post Office. It was very charming and lovely attention to detail such as roses in the bedroom and lavender sachets under the pillows. Heaps of good reading material if only there had been the time to indulge. The continental breakfast was great with home made muesli, bread and preserves. Deb made us feel very welcome and looked after us very well. Thank you Deb, all was much appreciated.
