On arrival you will immediately know that you made a good choice It is a perfect choice for staying in rather than going out to find a restaurant It is worth a stop at the local butcher and market on the way Our afternoon wine on the deck and early evening BBQ looking over Mercury Bay was spectacular followed by a couple of games of pool a good Netflix drama and a comfortable bed. It couldn’t have been much better

This place would have to be one of our favourite BnBs we’ve visited in NZ! Nestled into the bank of Brophys Bay, the studio looks onto the gorgeous coastline of Whitianga’s Buffalo Beach. It has everything we needed for our weekend getaway - Netflix, a comfy bed, outside coffee spot. They also have an outdoor bathtub, a little pathway that leads to the ocean and, the highlight of my morning, home made croissants with butter and jam. They made us feel so welcome and were exceptional hosts.
