Herman was a wonderful host. He carried out luggage to the room and gave us the full tour of the facilities and ideas on places to see for our first visit to Boquete. It is a warm and welcoming place with lovely gardens and sitting areas and clean as a pin. Fabulous place that truly checked all the boxes for us. I had the best sleep in months. Booked in at another accommodation the following night and was terribly disappointed.

Lovely place in Boquete! There is a terrasse with view of the beautiful garden where we enjoyed the breakfast every morning. It’s only a couple of minuttes walk to the main road with lots of restaurants. It’s the first time in a while we slept so well. We can’t recommend this enough!

The mattress / bed was very comfortable and the small casita very well equipped. The kitchen had much more cutlery etc. available than any other studio we ever stayed in. Nothing was missing. The garden was absolutely amazing. From one of the many resting places there, you have a wonderful view of the volcano. In ten minutes by car we were in Boquete which was very convenient. Quincy also informed us very well about the options for activities and we had our own wifi connection.

Manana Madera is a marvelous place and Randy is the most amazing host I've ever met! The little house I stayed in was exceptionally clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed, lots of amenities and a serene and beautiful view. It felt like home away from home. Randy was really helpful and made sure I have the best of my short time in Bouqete. He showed me nests with newly hatched humming birds in his garden, guided me to the waterfall trail and recommended places to eat. He even gave me a cell phone to get in contact with him in case I needed a pick up or something else. I had such a great time! Thank you, Randy!

The lodge is lovely with comfortable and homey common spaces and kitchen. The location is perfect, as it’s right off the main road but tucked away in a much quieter area with the beautiful river running just behind it. The staff were so friendly and helpful as well, and the room was extremely clean.

Loved our short stay here and wish we had known how nice Boquete would be so that we could have stayed longer. Bed was comfy, bathroom facilities were great, a nicely equipped kitchen and fridge were at our disposition. The garden is very lovely, and it was super fun to see the young kitten Cloud playing around there (he's super curious and friendly)! Nice location too, lots of cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets close by. In general, excellent value for money. We were able to easily organize a midnight drop off and morning pick up at the start of the volcán Baru hike for sunrise. $25 for there and back. The family was very welcoming and friendly, we would happily stay here again next time and look forward to coming back!
