This was more like a home stay than a hotel or hostel. A truly lovely family for which nothing was too much trouble. The owner was at the bus station, at night ready to pick us up and delivered us back there for our bus trip out. He was very helpful organising trips, showing us the town, recommending restaurants, sharing some of the history etc. Simple breakfast (optional extra) - scrambled eggs, bun, jam an avocado, lovely fruit juice, tea or coffee. Twin room with wardrobe, small table and 2 chairs. Small bathroom with tepid shower, which is all that was needed with temperatures in the low 30s. Fan only which made the nights pretty warm. There were chill out areas with comfy sofas, tables and chairs if you needed to work. Wifi tended to drop in and out from time to time. Outstanding hospitality.

The host was so incredibly friendly and helpful. The place was an amazing deal. We arrived around 11:30pm and she happily welcomed us in. She also let us keep our bags there after check out since we were taking a night bus. She helped us with all our questions. Make sure and book through her for tours because she honestly does get you the best price. She just books it for you but doesn't gain a commission on it. We could have saved a lot. Don't make our mistake and let her help you!

the staff is amazing, very helpful, Both Daniel and Mercedes took great care of us. The House looks small at first sight, but it is pretty big, Wi-Fi is fast, and it is a great tea. The house is absolutely clean, the bathrooms as well, overall great experience!! there is a food market nearby, everyone should try the papas rellenas, with a papaya juice!!

The property had everything you’d expect for the price. I was upgraded and had a room to myself. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. They are so friendly and welcoming. I also had a night bus on my departure day and they let me stay and use the room till 8pm. The provided tours that was specific to what you wanted to do and Julio was very knowledgable and kind. Highly recommend

They were kind enough to pick me up from the bus station (even though it’s only a 4 minute walk), drive me to a money exchange, and even gave me a room upgrade. They also let me check out super late. The hostel is comfortable, with BIG beds, clean PRIVATE bathrooms with hot water and super close to the center. They also offer towels and toiletries!!
