Cleanliness and comfort was excellent. Everything provided in the modern kitchen. Proximity to banks, supermarket, and roulottes (food trucks). Only an easy half hour walk into town. Attention and help from Fred, our host. Fred would book our taxis, tours, and recommend places to eat, etc, and laid out continental breakfasts for us to our surprise. Tara Tahiti Lodge is a must for anyone visiting Papeete.

Staff were super friendly and even offered us the use of the shower facilities when we checked out as our flight was at midnight. Stunning bar on the rooftop overlooking Moorea Island. The shared kitchen was handy and had the basics, although the nearby supermarket had ready made meals which was a great option for cheap tasty dinner. It's close to town, perhaps 10-12 mins from the water,.and 15min walk to the port.
