It was one of our most magnificent trip not only because Madeira is so beautifull but also that we could feel how it was on a real banana plantation! Host was great, there were always bananas prepared for us, our room was cleaned once a week and we could even use the terrace to have a grill and try a real Espetada :) We will come back for sure!

The weather wasn't great during our stay, but otherwise the pool area would have been a vibe. There is also a big garden area that was nice to walk around, even if rather unkempt. I found the reception staff exceptionally friendly and helpful :) There is a big supermarket just across the street and several good restaurant options nearby.
