The view from the room overlooking the Douro Valley is spectacular! The rooms are very comfortable and warm, clean and modern. The excellent breakfast is served on a terrace overlooking the river, although on the day we were there it was rather cold!

I loved the location. There are hiking trails where you can do bird watching and go thru the wine yards. There are facilities for kayaking too, everything included (paddles, kayaks, and lifesavers). The stay includes a tour of the process and degustation of wine.

Wow, what an awesome place to stay. This family owned and run place was the most unique and beautiful place that we’ve ever stayed in. The grounds are beautiful, with a great swimming pool overlooking the valley, and many little nooks to sit outside. The accommodations themselves were excellent. They were so comfortable, and had everything to make one’s stay so pleasurable - even a lovely bottle of wine. The owners were terrific! The place is set in the valley in an excellent location. This is a real gem of a place.

Location is beautiful, owners are super welcoming and go above and beyond to ensure that you have a memorable stay - starting with home grown fruits In the apartment, home cooked breakfast and optional dinner (very tasty!) as well as helpful tips on what to do around the area. Absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely come back again if we’re in Portugal in the future.

Good location for visiting the Douro valley. Beautiful view from te hotel. Welcoming and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and clean, with a nice little balcony. The room also had a filled mini-bar with very reasonably prized drinks. The bed was very comfortable. An extensive and delicious breakfast buffet was served.

Feels like at home. Traditional house. Good breakfast (fresh bread, homemade marmalade). Parking. Clean and spacious. Not expensive. Very lovely owner, she gives you some tips what to visit. Close to of the best miradouro on river Douro (São Leonardo de Galafura).
