Extremely cozy place. The owner were really friendly and helpful. They contacted us before the arrival to make sure we have everything we need for our trip. Rooms a really quiet and the bed confortables . The hotel is well located, only few minutes away from the center. The breakfast was tasty with a good selection of homemade products

Absolute gem of the Douro Valley! My husband and I picked the Golden Mirror for the Douro portion of our honeymoon and we were so glad that we did! The rooms are spacious, clean and new and the view from our room was absolutely breath taking! The hosts of the hotel are so SO nice and helped us with parking every time we came back. The hotel is conveniently located about 5 minute drive from Regua and about 10 minute drive to Lamego - both had good options for dining. We did two wine tastings just down the road at Quinta da Pacheco and Quinta de Tourais - both were incredible and just a couple minutes from the hotel. Overall, this hotel is a 10/10! We hope to be back some day.

Not was only the place that was magical but both hosts Zilda and Ricardo! The make your stay feel like it’s home and that something that has more value than anything. Location was amazing. Will come back for sure.

Pleasant and friendly staffs. It's a lovely quiet quinta over looking a beautiful Valley in the region. We're very happy that I booked our stay here and definitely want to come back. It also has a small wine museum with wine tasting in this location. Forget to mention, breakfast is plentiful, tasty and healthy. Anyway, we love everything.

Elisabete is the most gracious and friendly hostess you will ever stay with. My husband and I spent 3 nights at her Quinta. If you contact Elisabete ahead of your stay, she will make wonderful recomme dations for wine tastings and dinner. You definitely should make dinner reservations ahead of time. The food is incedible. One evening, Elisabete prepared a pinic for us and we spent the night on her terrace watching the sunset. Her quinta also has a lovely pool with beautiful views. The Douro was hot while we were there and it was so nice to come back to the pool on the late afternoon. Stay a few days with Elisabete and dont rush through the Douro!

The place is beautiful and comfortable. We loved having an entire apartment, and especially the beautiful terrace. The proprietors are very nice and helpful, and gave us good tips on things to do. The grounds are awesome, even though it was tough for us to walk into town.
