We loved the town of Miranda do Douro, the remoteness of it, the scenery and the culture. We happened to be there over the weekend, when there was a cultural performance that was very lively and fun. The property was comfortable, quiet when the windows were closed, very clean. The hosts were very warm and responded quickly to all of our communications.

With views of the Douro river, Flor Do Douro offers spacious rooms that overlook a lively shopping street. The rooms at Flor Do Douro are equipped with a TV and a private bathroom with a hairdryer.

Everything was great! The rooms are very spacious and the owners are very friendly, helpful and generous. The location is perfect, with nice views on both sides. The city is quaint and easy to walk around and the location of Flor do Douro was perfect! You couldn’t ask for a better deal!

Situated 6 km from Miranda do Douro, this rural farm offers an outdoor pool with seating areas and regional cuisine typical of the Douro region. All rooms are modern and fully air-conditioned.

The staff was very welcoming. We recommend to eat at their restaurant for dinner, the food is fresh, homemade, the products are local. We enjoyed the buffet of desserts. We hope to come back during summer for a longer stay.

Located in the historic city of Miranda do Douro, boasting views of the river dam, this guest house is a great base from which to explore the region.

Checkin was via the cafe bar downstairs and the owner was fantastic - very helpful and very friendly. The room was good and the view .. Well it certainly was Bella ! I even gad eagles flying above.
