It doesn't get much better than this lovingly run hotel with its friendly and dedicated staff. Furnished in traditional, warm style with historical photos on the walls and with coffee, tea, bread and goodies available at all times. Great for Camino pilgrims, the price is astoundingly reasonable for what you receive here. Even the gardens with its trees and various succulents around the building are stunning. I had a great rest here and was sorry to leave . .

Located just 4 km from the centre of Ponte de Lima, Encosta do Monte Hotel is in a quiet mountain-side location and offers sound-proofed rooms. Free Wi-Fi and free parking is provided.

The owner Maria and Hoy were so so nice . Very helpful, welcoming and kind and made our group of ten feel very welcome. Bedrooms were excellent. Good size, comfortable beds and en suite. Recommend the breakfast for €7.50 per couple. Fabulous choice of food and drinks and home made pineapple cake. 😋

Fantastic! Perfect location. Comfortable bed and room. Great shower. Helpful staff. When I asked for a really early breakfast, they offered to make me a bag lunch instead. It worked great for a day on the Camino.

We loved flowers and faces, Maria Elena was the best part of this hostel. It was spotless. We walked the Camino and arrived very tired and we were greeted with a big smile and beer!
