Very warm welcome even though we arrived very late to the property. Issa the caretaker had a very positive and can-do attitude. The owner’s support was phenomenal. The room was very big and clean, best Wi-Fi in Senegal, cold A/C, . simple but fresh breakfast (bread, jam, butter, some fruit, coffee or tea). Quiet house and location. The host Maguette was friendly and helpful. I also briefly met the rest of the family, the husband organizes bike tours around the country, do inquire about it if you are interested :) Night guard at the front door, bars on room windows, staff present at all times in the house for questions. It was possible to leave my luggage in the living room after checking out in the morning. I would recommend anyone to stay at Villa Milyn. Can't beat the value for sure. When taking taxis, indicate "Yoff - Virage" to your driver, then guide them to your destination.

If i come back to Dakar, this is my place to stay again❤️I loved the family, the welcome by doggy Bella. The flexible breakfast with views over the pool. The rooms were so so clean it made me happy everyday. Also, i felt very safe with the guard who was there at night to help me in and also when I left he helped me with the taxi.

I needed a place to chill out for a few days in Dakar this place is perfect. Really nice room (I booked the small twin)… it was larger than I expected. The staff were very helpful I don’t speak French and they really went out of their way to accommodate me. Food was delicious as was the wine! I would definitely stay here and recommend going to Ngor island. There isn’t laundry here but it’s a few mins walk away and the local laundry was great. All in all a chilled out relaxing place.
