I would recommend this accommodation. The property is definitely a new building, with outstanding open space outside and really big and modern apartaments. The location is very good: 150m from the beach and 500m from the center town, all at walking distance in few minutes. The view from the terrace is really great: you can relax in the morning and enjoy a good breakfast (European with mixed Zanzibar fruit) while enjoying the seaside view. There is no Wi-Fi in the building, but as suggested by Ali (the local guide), I have bought the local SIM card in the city center close to the apartment and it was working perfectly. Due to lack of time, I didn’t have time to enjoy the several experiences that Ali suggested me during the staying. I had an amazing vacation in Blue Villa Zanzibar, enjoying the pole pole Zanzibar philosophy. I would definitely come back

What an absolutely delightful place to call home for a few days! We were looking for a restful spot on a quiet beach after our safari and this was it. The building itself is fascinating….lots of history within, unique and quirky and has everything you need and more. Our rooms were comfy and clean and the balcony in each room overlooking the beach was great. Massi and Miria are the perfect host…there when you need them with answers to all your questions. All staff were so kind and friendly…restaurant staff with whom we interacted the most were the best. The daily breakfast had a perfect selection of continental and hot options. And a juice with fruit and avocado that I wish I could have bottled and brought back home. We ate all three dinners there and they were out of this world (I’m running out of superlatives to describe our stay!). With Massi’s obvious influence they were all traditional Italian. Four amazing courses each night and only $20 USD per person. Worth so much more. I wholeheartedly recommend Zanzibar House as a perfect place to stay for a beach break. Suggest taking the taxi service offered on their site as we chose not to and our cab driver had difficulty locating it. With the help of a kind local on a motorbike however, we did. We were thoroughly impressed. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities including a TV. The hotel staff were truly awesome - they were welcoming, friendly and always ready to assist with any request or inquiry. The location of the hotel is perfect, with stunning views of the ocean and easy access to the beach. The hotel's facilities and services were top-notch, with a fantastic restaurant serving delicious meals and offered a great selection of soft drinks and fresh juices. One of the highlights of my stay was the fantastic service provided by the hotel staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and their friendly and attentive approach really made me feel at home. Overall, I highly recommend the Isla Bonita hotel for anyone visiting Matemwe, Zanzibar. The combination of clean and comfortable rooms, stunning location, delicious food, and outstanding service makes it a top choice for accommodation on the island.

The staff are all helpful and friendly. The resort is ran by an Italian couple who make you feel as though you're welcome and you're family from the moment you walk through the gate. The food is so delicious.. Try anything you won't be disappointed. Georgia is so quick at offering many amazing things to do on the island.. And ask her about the cute bush babies you can feed in the evening 😍 The rooms are up todate.. Water pressure is amazing and a/c blows cold.. The beds are so comfortable. I've been to Zanzibar sooo many times and this is hands down one of my favourite places now. I will definitely be back. Feels like you're in paradise. The resort is quiet Nd relaxing. And in less than a minute walk your on the white sand beach.

The staff at Cast Away are exceedingly helpful, friendly and accommodating. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and even spoiled. The location is fantastic, right on the beach with a beach bar serving drinks. The facilities were beautiful and comfortable. I would gladly return to this hotel!

The Kichwa House is the best place to stay in Kiwengwa! The staff is very welcoming and kind, ready to help you when you need. The house is just in front of a beautiful beach where you can also have kitesurf lessons. The place is quite but well served and not far from the village if you need to go for shopping. Definetly recommended.

Small Place with just 4 Rooms for rent. Felt almost like a homestay. Super friendly and flexible host who can also organize pick up from pier or airport.

Loved being right on the beach. The room was air-conditioned which was good. I wasn't used to the heat and humidity of Zanzibar.

We staid at Villa Lala that belongs to the same owner therefore, we end up spending most of our time at Poa Poa (restaurant) and pool Villa Lala - the room number 1 is superb! Initially we got to number 2 (smaller in size and different setup). We got transferred to the room 1 (due to some issue with toilet) but what we discovered - room N1 was for sure Superior. It worth 💯 to pay little more but get this room! Wardrobe is soooo specious, layout is perfect 🤩 and I love its interior design more. You will have shared kitchen - to fix tea or coffee for yourself or sometime we kept some fruits in the fridge ☺️ Next door to Villa Lala you will have Poa Poa restaurant with the best food! Sooo good and good value for money. I was having grilled octopus with grilled veggies every single day 😁 soooo good! Great spot for pics as well 📸🤳 Staff is cool and caring! Good place to chill and relax Big thanks to John 🫶🏻 Highly recommended! 🌟💯
