THE BEST ever guesthouse, a lovely stay, the host was really friendly and helpful in every way. Breakfast was not included but we went locally to eat after we checked out. Great location in Mossel Bay. Rooms were beautiful here, clean, fresh and very comfortable.

What a magical place is Betty’s Boutique Hotel. A bygone era captured perfectly. So refined. There is an amazing array of interesting English memorabilia. Beautiful porcelain cups and teapots, so much to appreciate. We chose the Rose Room which oozed romance. The waitresses/housemaids all wore pretty floral aprons and were always nearby to ensure our comfort. Our room was immaculately cleaned and reset every day. Tea and coffee making facilities were in our room presented beautifully on a trolley. A delicious bottle of wine was gifted to us on our arrival with two huge, fine glasses. I mention all the above to point out just how dedicated the owners are to making their guests feel very special. Our bed was enormous and so very cosy and comfortable. The bathroom large and bright with a brilliant, strong, hot shower. Two lovely armchairs were in our room giving us a place to sit and read if we wished. Breakfasts were amazing served on a sunny balcony with views over the peaceful garden and out to sea with relaxing background music making it a hard to leave. Not normally one for eating breakfast I couldn’t resist the temptation to indulge each morning. We have moved on to our next stop after a most memorable 4 days at Betty’s. We miss the smiles and attention that the beautiful girls showered us with. We will treasure wonderful memories we made at Betty’s Boutique Hotel. Thanks to Lewis and his family and their wonderful team.

The guesthouse is located in the city centre of town, but in a quiet, peaceful area. The room was exactly as described on booking.com, nothing was missing and it was spotless clean. There is a communal fridge in the lounge which I liked a lot; I don’t like having noisy appliances in the bedroom. Maaike and Martin are attentive and friendly hosts and provided me with all necessary information, including recommendations for dinner. I’ll be back, for sure.
