It was so quiet and peaceful. The place looked even better than advertised. The fresh load of bread and chocolates were a lovely touch. Will definitely be back for another stay😊

Guests will find port wine and free chocolates in their room on arrival. We stayed at Thomson suite. When we opened the door, our jaws dropped. It was ten times more beautiful and quirky than we could ever imagine. It had a very artistic touch on everything and every corner, showing the very long history of the place as a foundry. Gorgeous brick walls exposed inside with outstanding skylight, windows, bar, pool, kitchen, woodburner fireplace and ... I was thinking of living there forever. Greg, the host, came to say hi, what a lovely man he is. He generously filled up the fridge for us, more than we could ever eat.
