Very charming place in a lovely location. The room is super big, with a lot of light. The staff is very friendly and open to help, as well as flexible. 100% will return! Even the shared bathroom was not an issue, as they were super clean and renewed.

The location was perfect for my short stay in Lucerne. Lovely quiet neighborhood, but yet very close to the city center (about 10-15 min drive, depending on where you want to go) The room was very clean and spacious, the bed is massive and comfortable (i had a good night sleep). Bed sheets and towels smelled lovely. Bathroom was spotless with lots of space. The shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. There is also a bath tub, next to the window, but i haven't used it. There is a very good coffee machine in the room as well. Outside the garden is absolutely gorgeous, with an amazing view of the city. The property is surrounded by woodlands and you have your own private entrance. Last, but not least, the host Igor is really the coolest guy. Very polite, friendly and always there to help, smiling, hospitable. I would prefer Igor's place to any hotel and i really recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to stay in Lucerne.

Guests at the bed and breakfast will be able to enjoy activities in and around Luzern, like hiking. Skiing and cycling can be enjoyed nearby, while a private beach area and a ski pass sales point are also available on-site. The pool, The lake and the hospitality by Peter and his spouse were excellent. The location is great and the kids also loved it. When it rained we went to museum in Lucerne and even with covid we had a great time.

Located 1 km away from Lucerne, Gasthaus zur Waldegg features 2 restaurants offering traditional Swiss and international cuisine, a bar and a beer garden overlooking Mount Pilatus. WiFi and on-site private parking are available free of charge. Got 2 lovely family rooms nxt to each other and had everything we needed and so comfortable bed lovely too, breakfast great and so helpful , great food was booked out last night but would have loved to have eaten all nights there.
