Offering a terrace and mountain view, Km0 Hostel is located in Salento, 47 km from Ukumari Zoo and 36 km from Pereira's Botanical Garden. Very nice accommodation, spacious private room, the receptionist was very kind to wait for us since we arrive late to the hostel. Facilities are good, water pressure is great, hot water works perfectly (and very well needed). There’s a small store downstairs where you can do laundry for a small price.

Finca San Miguel Filandia in Filandia provides adults-only accommodation with free bikes and a garden. A public bath and a car rental service are available for guests. I stayed in Finca San Miguel in late February 2024 and strongly recommend it. The whole experience is very homelike and welcoming. Finca San Miguel is clearly a labor of love for the two proprietors, John & Felipe. The house, gardens, & fountains are lovingly cared for; the proprietors have created a veritable Garden of Eden. The meals are simple, fresh, and well-prepared. Meals are served alongside delicious juices, & the best hot chocolate & coffee imaginable. The rooms are very comfortable, and you’ll fall asleep to the sound of the frogs singing at night. The proprietors will help you find the famous Willy Jeeps that take you back-and-forth to Filandia and can assist in arranging local trips. This is rural tourism at its best.

Casa San Pedro - Salento, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Salento, 46 km from Ukumari Zoo, 35 km from Pereira's Botanical Garden, as well as 35 km from Technological University of Pereira. Pedro is fantastic host. He walked the extra mile to make our stay as pleasant as possibile. Bed super comfortable, great location close to bus station and city centrę. Excellent coffee!

A recently renovated property, NOGAL HOSTEL is located in Pereira near Founders Monument, César Gaviria Trujillo Viaduct and Cathedral of Our Lady of Poverty. Nogal Hostel offers modern and clean facilities, centrally located from well-rated restaurants and bars at walking distance. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast, which was included in our stay, was tasty and filling. More details from our stay: My friends and I occupied 3 private rooms and had the hostel almost to ourselves, making our experience very familiar and comfortable. Personally, I stayed in a Private room with Shared bathroom. The room was large with closet space, fan, TV and it was warmly illuminated and decorated. The bathroom was easily accessible (next door), was always clean, and offered a hot shower with strong pressure. A great stay overall.

12 km from Viaduct between Pereira and Dosquebradas in Santa Rosa de Cabal, Hostal Don Jose features accommodation with access to wellness packages and public bath. Excellent hostal. It feels more like a hotel than a hostal. The bed was comfortable, the shower had hot water and the room was very clean. The breakfast was the normal basis fruit, eggs and coffee but for the cost it was perfect. The host is super helpful and really looked after us. Highly recommend if you’re looking to visit the thermal spas near by.
