Best hosts we've met. The island struggled after a huge hurricane in November 2020 that destroyed almost the entire island. Slowly they are reviving, and this hotel is one of the first at full speed again. Nice and cosy rooms with good airco and (hot) showers. Drinking water is provided. Staff knows all the locations and options at the island, with correct prices. They helped us to explore the island, and made sure we would find the places that are open again for food, drinks and activities. Come here and experience how warmth can be the combination of nature and people.

The bank is up the road. The downtown area for a supermarket, pharmacy, and rental places is a 5 minute scooter ride away. The water is 5 minutes walking distance. The first beach is about a 5 minute scooter ride as well. It's a great place for solo travelers, couples, friends and families. It's in a quiet part of the bay area. I felt very safe my whole time on the island and I felt welcomed by everyone.

The rooms are new, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean with very cold A/C. The location is central and close to restaurants and the largest supermarkets on the island, and there is a small shop for drinks and snacks right next door. The hosts speak both English and Spanish and went out of their way on multiple occasions to ensure that my stay was a memorable one. I am already planning a return visit to this unique and truly great posada!
