Not only because of the food, it was very good and gluten free for me, which can be complicate sometimes, but mostly because of the mother. The is a beautiful soul, full of love and kindness. This island on the Puerto Viejo River offers charming rooms with balconies, overlooking the tropical rainforest of Sarapiqui. Big comfortable room and bed. The beautiful gardens were stunning with paths around the flowers, plants and trees. We saw many colorful birds and heard several howler monkeys. Dinner was offered and was delicious.
