The location was perfect, close to the centre and within walking distance of cafes and restaurants and of course the Saturday market. The room was huge with lots of space and a seating area by the window which was great for relaxing. The water was super hot in the shower, ideal for a freshen up after hiking around the Laguna de Cuicocha! The communal areas were well equipped and very clean plus drinking water was provided. Alberto provided information on things to do and offered help in organising any activities. A great place and a very enjoyable stay.

Beyond the hospitality, the rooms are incredibly spacious and comfortable and if you want it, single rooms are very affordable. On top of this, Inti offers a taxi service (well known as the ‘Inti Taxi’ haha) and can bring you wherever you need! During one of my days here I took the ‘Inti Taxi’ to El Lechero and the Condor Park and Inti was able to share tons of information about these places. This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking to visit and immerse yourself in the Otavaleño culture. I also learned some Kichwa from the family as well.

Great place to eat.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional and they were very accommodating, making delicious gluten free vegetarian food for me. Even though it's close to the road it's very quiet and peaceful. The river drowns out most noises. Lots of birds to see as well. Maria and her son took me down the hillside to the river on the first day I was there. The river is so beautiful. I stayed in one of the cute little cabins, which I would choose again if I stay there again. If you need more space they do have larger rooms in the farmhouse. I spent quite a lot of time relaxing on the front porch in the hammock watching the birds and listening to the music of the river. I live here in intag and am checking out places for friends when they come to visit. This is the first one I've actually stayed at. I highly recommend it. ❤️❤️❤️

It's difficult to pick just one thing that we liked because the Hacienda San Isidro de Iltaqui was extraordinary in so many ways! We loved the hacienda's ambiance, the farm fresh food was delicious, and the hosts offered attentive, personal, old world hospitality that will bring us back. Cannot recommend highly enough.
