We enjoyed the room very much! Breakfast was delicious and they prepared very early for us. There was a tuktuk driver who was taking us to the Ferry and the price was reasonable. We also arranged a transfer to the airport. I totally recommend this place.

Beautiful view of the Nile river and Luxor city from the great rooftop terrace, very clean and comfortable, very kindly and friendly staff that treat you as a family. Very happy and satisfied!😀😃😁

Amazing location for seeing the tombs and temples. Tayeb is incredibly helpful with all things Egypt not just what’s around Luxor. His hospitality is the best I’ve experienced in all of Egypt. Make sure to have dinner there as it’s the best food I’ve had all trip long. Breakfast is also incredibly filling with a variety of different foods every morning. If you require a driver for anything (I recommend it for sightseeing) ask for Hassan he was a legend. He knew all of the best times to visit places to avoid the crowds and lots of local hidden gems which I would not have found otherwise. The property itself has a pool, small library and many sitting areas. The amount of literature on the surrounding area (half French/half English literature) in the library alone makes the visit worth it. Definitely take an evening or two to read through everything and to pick Tayeb’s brain about the locals tombs. He is a wealth of knowledge. Also on site there is a couple of really well behaved cute pets. The West Bank is quieter than city life on the East but that’s part of the charm. For anyone who is considering going to Luxor I would 10/10 recommend staying here.

It's a lovely, spacious, cozy, friendly place, very clean, comfortable beds and with amazing sunset view. The staff was helpful and friendly. we feld like we were part of the family. I liked the breakfast too - it was very tasty. We had enjoyable time in Karima house!

There's much to say in favour of this little oasis of accommodation. It is well run by two extremely welcoming guys and all the staff are so helpful. It's Egyptian hospitality at its best. In the hustle bustle of a busy city this is indeed a peace garden. A lot of care has been taken in furnishing and decorating the whole place. I should also mention that the bed was extremely comfortable and the general atmosphere most relaxing Breakfast is fantastic. An almost endless supply of well prepared and varied food brought to the table with a wide choice of teas and juice. The restaurant prepares great traditional evening meals. It is kept spotlessly clean and proves to be incredible value for money. It was so good that I extended my stay in Luxor. Look no further, if you are lucky enough to find availability here, book it!

I stayed at the hotel for four days, and it was a very good stay. The hotel has been newly refurbished, which made it look nice and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent, and Nasser, the host, kindly adapted to my vegetarian diet, for which I am grateful. There were days when I needed an early breakfast, and they kindly accommodated that request. Additionally, the room was a decent size and had all the necessities. The location is in the west bank, closer to the countryside, with a few good restaurants and a nearby shop for essentials. However, you can take a quick 5-minute ferry to the East bank, which is livelier. The host checked in regularly to ensure my stay was fine and to answer any questions. They also offered me an airport ride for a small additional charge of ten dollars or pounds sterling. Karim, who works as a guide/driver for the hotel, drove me and guided me through places like the Hastepuy temple, Valley of Kings, Luxor temple, etc. He was welcoming and excellent in his guiding and answering questions. Overall, I felt very welcome, almost as if I had stayed with long-distance relatives. I thank Karim, Nasser, and the rest of the team for making my Luxor trip so memorable.

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and housed everything you would hope to need. After our nile cruise and the constant pestering of local taxi drivers, shopkeepers, and restaurant owners, Abeer Guest House gave a sense of normality again. Abeer and Austin are truly wonderful people, giving very helpful information for visiting Luxor's beautiful monuments and tips for surviving the tyrannical heat (e.g. freeze your water bottles). The breakfast was scrumptious, filling, and exactly what you should try when visiting Egypt. It was a relaxing experience, which is what we all want when on holiday.

This is a family business with multiple guesthouses on the west bank. The room we originally booked had a problem and was unavailable but Hamdi was very apologetic and offered us a number of other options. We ended up staying at the Old Nile Hotel where we were made to feel very welcome by Jordan. It was very quiet and peaceful and is right next to a small lake. We were even given a fishing rod to use which I really appreciated. Hamdi and Jordan are attentive hosts and really went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.
