I am a female solotraveler and I have been so comfortable and happy in Oasis. For the first 3 days I stayed in a place directly on the Nile but there was a high tourist turnover and noise of the boats on the Nile, so I needed a silent place, after reading the reviews I booked one night here and extended my stay! So I am writing this from the terrace. :) What I love here most is the peaceful athmosphere with chirping birds and the soothing sound of the pool water when they run it. I absolutely love my small room, with a big bed, beautiful window and pretty modern white furniture. The entire place is super clean, Hasan is always around cleaning somewhere and available with his nice smile. Laundry is available, too and they offer tea all day long. Wi-fi is fast, if you are a remote worker that is great. Good food, safe family environment and just one block next to the cafes on the riverside without the hustle of the Nile River, what to look for more. Summary: I definitely recommend this place.

The room is big with high ceilings and very clean and nice. The villa has a very beautiful and nice garden where you can enjoy a big and sumptuous breakfast in the morning. Owner is very friendly and helpful and can organize hot air balloon and private tour in a very reasonable price. When I asked for a hairdryer to use, owner specially bought one for my use as they didn't have a hairdryer in the villa! Highly recommend to stay here when visiting Luxor.

My mother and I only spent a day in Luxor, and expected to simply sleep, wake up and leave for the day, but never did I expect that the accommodation would somehow be the highlight of our time in Luxor. The host is one of the kindest people I've ever met. Upon arrival, he personally showed us around the whole property, enjoyed a wine on the rooftop at night with a gorgeous view of the Nile, and spoke about his life and what to expect in Luxor. The host is an archaeologist and Egyptologist so he is the one to talk to. He recommended some fantastic sights in the area and his input was invaluable. The rooms were just what we were after and were great for the price, especially just for a night. I would have no issue coming back again.

Scorpion House Luxor biedt accommodatie met een Nubische inrichting en uitzicht op de Vallei van de Koningen. Het biedt gratis WiFi in sommige kamers en een zonneterras. Tayed en zijn vrouw hebben een authentiek en Egyptisch huis met een aantal gastenkamers. Je waant je in een soort Egyptisch kasteel waar een familiaire liefdevolle en geborgen sfeer hangt. De bouwstijl en de inrichting liet ons meteen thuisvoelen. Tayed en zijn vrouw verzorgden aandachtig naar wens het avondeten wat elke keer weer een smaakvolle verrassing van de regionale Egyptische keuken was. De aanwezigheid van een aantal huisdieren was heel fijn. Tot onze verrassing konden we gebruik maken van een mooi zwembad in een aangrenzende tuin. Tayed zelf is expert in de Egyptische archeologie en heeft ons heel veel tips gegeven voor prachtige bezoeken in de omgeving. Hij regelde voor ons lokale taxichauffeurs en tuktuk. Altijd voor een goede prijs. Het hotel ligt aan de Westbank, het rustige gedeelte van Luxor. Wat heel prettig en aan te raden is om van daaruit het drukkere Eastbank te bezoeken. Binnen 10 minuten brengt de taxi je naar het pontje en ben je bij aankomst zo bij de tempels. Kortom, The Scorpion House is the place to be. Wij komen zeker terug!

Hadi Guest House bevindt zich in Luxor, op 4 km van Colossi of Memnon, en heeft accommodatie met airconditioning en een tuin. Dit pension is ideaal gelegen in de wijk West bank en biedt een terras. The location was great and the staff were kind and helpful. It is very clean and the shared bathrooms were kept immaculate. The location on the West Bank is ideal. It is quiet with many good restaurants nearby and super easy access to the East Bank. The owner is exceptionally kind and can help you arrange anything you want to do. He took me on a tour of the West Bank and charged a very fair price and had great recommendations. Breakfast is good and plentiful, if you choose to purchase it. I would stay here again without question.

Elsanosy Family Guest House - Luxor beschikt over een tuin en een terras, en is gelegen in Luxor, op 3,4 km van Colossi of Memnon en 4,4 km van Medinet Habu Temple. The simple family run home stay. The owners are caring and very helpful. Food home cooked and delicious. The hot air balloon safari was awesome and the owner helped us get a sunrise flight on new years. Overall an amazing stay and value for money.
