The Mango Guest House is set in Aswan, 700 metres from Aswan Christian Cathedral and 1 km from El-Tabia Mosque. Nice and quiet, beautiful garden, airco was in fine working order. Nice staff!

Located 23 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum and less than 1 km from Nubian Museum, FADL Kato in Aswan provides air-conditioned accommodation with views of the lake and free WiFi. Everything: the location on the elephantine island was amazing, with view to the nile river, and next to greats restaurants. The bedroom was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly and kind. In fact they help us to take the boat and taxi to the train station at 4 am. 100%recommended

Offering garden views, Nuba Heart is an accommodation situated in Aswan, 24 km from Kitchener's Island and 25 km from Aswan High Dam. Very friendly Host. Clean and nice rooms, comfortable beds. Nice area to experience Nubian culture and people. Much more quiet than on the other loud side full with scammers. On this westbank hotel side you can relax, without 1000 people trying to constantly sell you something. Very good food from the Host. Cheap to reach side with boat (10 EPG per person). Would recommend this host and hotel to everybody. 👍🏼

The place itself is far from the crowds but an easy ferry away from everything, and there are interesting things to see on elephantine island itself. La Terrace is very clean, and the rooms and the beds are generously sized. As for Mohammed, he will make you feel at home right from the start, will organise everything you need, and at very fair prices. Absolute value for money.

Staff was amazing - room was very clean and the shower was hot. They provide free transport across on their private boat even at midnight. Gasser was very friendly. Breakfast was good and they provide a lot of food.

It's a fairly simple guest house on Elephantine Island. The staff are friendly and warm. Food is awesomely delicious (breakfast). Best breakfast I had in my Egypt trip. Very hearty and flavourful. And the guest house is right by the Nile River, facing the West Bank where the tombs on the hills are fairly visible. The sunrise and sunset is magnificent. The view is great and unobstructed.

The welcome and care we felt at this Nubian house was unbelievable. It's actually a small place, with just three rooms, located right in the heart of the village market. Ahmad took care of us since before we even arrived, by arranging a private car to take us to Abu Simbel at a really great price. Needless to say he continued arranging all our logistics throughout our stay, which made our trip to Aswan really smooth and hassle-free. The room itself was amazing, perfectly clean, fresh, every little detail was so well thought out. And the food (breakfast and dinner) was the best we had anywhere in Egypt. We felt so comfortable at this place, and however we turned there was a big smile and welcome from the hosts. We loved it, thank you Ahmad!

18 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum, Artika Wadi Kiki Hotel is a recently renovated property situated in Aswan and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Artika Wadi Kiki is one of the best and most authentic hotels I've ever been to! I would definitely recommend it to everyone coming to Aswan. The staff is nice and polite, the dinner we had was great, but above all, the ambient and the details of this place are amazing. The hotel staff upgraded us from a regular room to a chalet which left us amazed. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, the staff helps you with your luggage. Again, all praise for this wonderful place!

Offering a terrace and river view, Jamaica Guest House is located in Aswan, 1.2 km from Nubian Museum and 400 metres from Kitchener's Island. The owner was really nice, always prepared a nice breakfast during our stay and helped us getting nice tours with fair prices. The place was well located in the more quiet Elephantine Island, right next to the boat (that costs 10 pounds) and close to restaurants run by other members of the family, which have delicious food.
