Their staff was really sweet . The kitchen was big and had a lot of things to eat for breakfast . The place has a shared bathroom that was always squeaky clean . The bed in the room was extremely comfortable and spacious. Everything about this place was perfect. Not only that, but it is perfectly situated. The train station to Liverpool central is only a 3 - 5 min long walk away and a 7 minutes one from subway, pizza hut and tesco express . I hope I'll be able to come back soon :)

Great location on a lovely tree lined road a short walk from the town centre. Our hosts were very welcoming and did everything they could to make us feel at home. The room was lovely, very comfortable and spotlessly clean, great attention to detail and thoughtfully decorated. Breakfast was very good including a vegetarian option which we both appreciated and enjoyed very much, good hot coffee too!

The Barn is a great place to stay. The hosts, Jenny and Gary, were extremely friendly and helpful, and made us feel very much at home. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and was quite spacious and well-equipped. There is free parking on the property, which is located in Hale Village, a peaceful rural setting with a pub that served very good food. There is a very enjoyable walk from the village to a lighthouse on the River Mersey. Access to the center of Liverpool is easy by bus, so we left our car at the house during our stay. We would highly recommend The Barn to anyone wanting to explore the Liverpool area.
