Set in Cape Coast, 2.9 km from Cape Coast Castle and 14 km from Elmina Castle, Kokodo Guest House offers a garden and air conditioning. My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Kokodo. It's a bit up the city centre, meaning we were able to enjoy some calm and really rest, without being to far from the city. The personnel was super nice, polite and helpful. The restaurant serves great Ghanaian food too.

The terrace overlooking the ocean is great for breakfast, dinner and drinks. The hostel's cook, Robert, is fantastic and made us some of best meals we had in Ghana. We were really pleased that the menu also had some delicious vegetarian and vegan options.

The staff were excellent and was able to accommodate our needs. They went above and beyond to order local food nearby to bring back to the location. The location is off the beaten path, and 1-2 restaurants are nearby. It's a pretty remote location.
