The sound proof doors and windows (there was a very high music in the outside and we didn’t listen anything). The bathroom that was new and good (especially the shower). And, of course, the host. Nick helped us with everything we needed during our stay. It is definitely a place to recommend for anyone.

Alegria Pension ligger bekvemt i Chanias gamle bydel, 1,5 km fra Koum Kapi-stranden, 1,7 km fra Kladissos-stranden og 100 m fra Firkas-fæstningen. The terrace was really nice, like every morning affer jogs around the Chania old town, we sat in the terrace, and enjoyed the morning sun. The room itself is not that big, but enough for 2-3 days stay. Also, the terrace covers that issue as you spend more time there than the room itself. I can describe myself picky in terms of the bathrooms in hotels, this was renovated pretty recent, was quite ok (no shower curtains etc) Regarding the location, it was perfect, like still in old town but not directly within the crowds, so no noise issue here.

We loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere - very friendly hosts who were helpful in every way. The suite was just perfect for our family of 4. So comfortable and beautifully designed. Fantastic location and a delicious and very generous breakfast. We felt very spoilt!

We stayed for one night on our way from Elafonisi Beach to Balos Beach. The staff is very friendly and kind, the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The balcony is very big, with hangers to dry your clothes/towels on. We went for food in the nearby village (1km away) and the food was traditional, cheap and very tasty. Would totally go back again, value for money 10/10

My husband and I stayed here for our elopement in Crete and post-ceremony honeymoon. Amazing boutique hotel with great location on beautiful quiet street in Chania's old town. You would never guess that you are a minutes walk from the bustling action of the harbor. Our room was spacious and did not feel cramped with all of the stuff we brought for our two week trip and our wedding ceremony clothes. Georgia, the hotel manager (I'm not sure if she is the owner as well) was there to meet us when we checked in and went above and beyond to ensure we were perfectly comfortable throughout our stay. She even worked with the cleaning staff to arrange our room so it had rose pedals and balloons in honor of our wedding one of the days when we were out and personally delivered a hand packed lunch the night before we left as we had to get up early to head to our next destination before the free breakfast was served. The cleaning staff was also beyond friendly and provided an amazing service. They went above and beyond cleaning our room each day, delicately putting away my wedding dress and organizing our shoes, folding any clothes left out on the bed, etc. Would stay here again without hesitation on any future visits to Chania!
