Offering free WiFi and city views, DIONI is an accommodation located in a central area of Chania Town, just 1.1 km from Nea Chora Beach and 1.4 km from Koum Kapi Beach. 1) received the code in advance from the key box; 2) they have already removed it early in the morning and notified that they are waiting; 3) check-in at a convenient time; 4) stylishly reproduced antiquity of the apartment; 5) I love the historical accuracy of this 10/10 (Venetian quarters); 6) with all modern attributes; 7) excellent dry white wine, olive oil, vinegar, vodka and water as a compliment; 8) not far from the coast, in the center of the old city, and at the same time it is not noisy; 9) the electric stove works, but does not match the numbers, but heats up well; 10) full immersion in the atmosphere of royal Greece.

We’ve been taken to the new part of the guest house which is a brand new place 500 meters away from original place. Modern facilities with everything you need in a tranquil part of the village - a great spot! The family running the place are calm and extremely hospitable people who treat you with respect and attention. Food at taverna makes you feel in heaven as ingredients are original and local. An all-around extremely positive and authentic experience, we would return one day.

The sound proof doors and windows (there was a very high music in the outside and we didn’t listen anything). The bathroom that was new and good (especially the shower). And, of course, the host. Nick helped us with everything we needed during our stay. It is definitely a place to recommend for anyone.

Situated conveniently in the Chania Old Town district of Chania Town, Alegria Pension is set 1.5 km from Koum Kapi Beach, 1.7 km from Kladissos Beach and 100 metres from Firkas Fortress. The terrace was really nice, like every morning affer jogs around the Chania old town, we sat in the terrace, and enjoyed the morning sun. The room itself is not that big, but enough for 2-3 days stay. Also, the terrace covers that issue as you spend more time there than the room itself. I can describe myself picky in terms of the bathrooms in hotels, this was renovated pretty recent, was quite ok (no shower curtains etc) Regarding the location, it was perfect, like still in old town but not directly within the crowds, so no noise issue here.

Set in Matala and only 100 metres from Matala beach, Boutique Hotel Die Zwei Brüder offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. We loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere - very friendly hosts who were helpful in every way. The suite was just perfect for our family of 4. So comfortable and beautifully designed. Fantastic location and a delicious and very generous breakfast. We felt very spoilt!

Spacious, super clean apartment with an amazing view. Very convenient location to explore both Chania and Kissamos area

Offering mountain and lake views, Antartisa B&B is located in Limni Innachorio. It provides accommodation and a breakfast made with traditional ingredients. We stayed for one night on our way from Elafonisi Beach to Balos Beach. The staff is very friendly and kind, the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The balcony is very big, with hangers to dry your clothes/towels on. We went for food in the nearby village (1km away) and the food was traditional, cheap and very tasty. Would totally go back again, value for money 10/10

Cretan Berry Sarpaki is situated in the Chania Old Town district of Chania Town, 1.4 km from Nea Chora Beach, 2 km from Kladissos Beach and 500 metres from Chania Old Venetian Harbour. My husband and I stayed here for our elopement in Crete and post-ceremony honeymoon. Amazing boutique hotel with great location on beautiful quiet street in Chania's old town. You would never guess that you are a minutes walk from the bustling action of the harbor. Our room was spacious and did not feel cramped with all of the stuff we brought for our two week trip and our wedding ceremony clothes. Georgia, the hotel manager (I'm not sure if she is the owner as well) was there to meet us when we checked in and went above and beyond to ensure we were perfectly comfortable throughout our stay. She even worked with the cleaning staff to arrange our room so it had rose pedals and balloons in honor of our wedding one of the days when we were out and personally delivered a hand packed lunch the night before we left as we had to get up early to head to our next destination before the free breakfast was served. The cleaning staff was also beyond friendly and provided an amazing service. They went above and beyond cleaning our room each day, delicately putting away my wedding dress and organizing our shoes, folding any clothes left out on the bed, etc. Would stay here again without hesitation on any future visits to Chania!
