Such a beautiful property inside and out lovely character in keeping the mill house, the grounds are lovely and enjoyed a nice walk by the river. Aoife was so friendly and helpful when we arrived showing our room and giving an amazing recommendation for dinner in Cavan. Breakfast was lovely and everyone so friendly and polite. A great place for switching off from electronics and relaxing. Would love to come back in summer when grounds a little so we can walk further as we’re not prepared with footwear for the wet which was on us. Already passed the details to few friends. One of our top stays!

Excellent breakfast in the morning and early enough for us to reach our ferry back to Stranraer in good time. Will definitely return!

Lovely B&B by Bailieborough. Rosemary, her husband and son are the loveliest people and are incredibly helpful. Rooms are extremely comfortable and there is everything you could need during your stay. The breakfast is also excellent! Couldn’t have had a better experience.

Set in 2 acres of landscaped gardens, Dungimmon House in Ballyconnell is a purpose-built 4-star country home with well-appointed rooms and free Wi-Fi in guest rooms and public areas. A spotless room on a beautiful spot, close to Cavan town & other small villages 5' away driving. The hosts were extremely kind & friendly, as well as their furry friends. The bed was extremely comfortable & the room was spacious and with nice viewings. High recommendable Irish breakfast!

We had a very nice stay at Hillview House. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The house is in a beautiful location. Thank you!

Featuring garden views, Nellies Cottage B&B features accommodation with patio, around 22 km from Cavan Genealogy Centre. Everything. Angela greeted us with such a lovely warm welcome along with her two lovely and very well-behaved furby's. The location was ideal as we attended a wedding in the Crover House Hotel, which was just a 13 min drive, so perfect place to stay. The room was stunning, had everything you needed, a beautiful big and comfortable bed. The bathroom was beautiful with a lovely shower and a separate bath. The breakfast was delicious 😋, and Angela's husband prepared and serviced a beautiful, full Irish breakfast with a lot of delicious local produce. There were lots of cereal options and fresh fruit too. Would highly recommend Nellie's Cottage for your stay. Thank you both very much for a lovely stay.
