Lots of space and art. There was an adorable cat that was our friend for the night. Elsa took the time to welcome us in person, show us around the facilities, and baked us fresh bread for the evening.

Situated on a horse farm by Iceland’s Ring Road, this bed and breakfast is 8 km from Höfn village. It offers bright and basic rooms with free WiFi access and mountain views. Hoffellsjökull Glacier is a 20-minute drive away. Everything, the host was really nice, gave us tips. The place was really clean. Some chocolates in our room, very sweet. Breakfast amazing, a lot of food.

A flat-screen TV, electric kettle and wardrobe are featured in all guest rooms at Skipalaekur Guesthouse. Bed linen and towels are included. Would definitely stay here again. The room had its own private bathroom which had us crazy after staying a couple of nights in other guesthouses with shared bathroom. The size of the room was big enough for 2 people and 4 pieces of luggage and the beds were really comfy. One of my favorite accommodations of my trip.
