I have never stayed in a guest house with such a welcoming and engaging host. I really felt like the owner and host cared about their guests a lot and made their stay very pleasant. I really enjoyed engaging with the other guests in this guesthouse, which enables people to get to know each other during breakfast, at the bar or in the common room. The facilities were nicely designed and decorated. Despite the distance to the centre of Sapporo, I would definitely recommend this hidden gem to everyone. Additionally, the shorter distance to Teine Olympia and Highland Ski Resort and Otaru is very convenient. This guesthouse is perfectly located in between Sapporo Downtown and Otaru, which both are worth a visit.

Opopo home 竜宮店 ligger i Otaru, inom 18 km från Otarushi Zenibako City Center och 36 km från Sapporo tågstation. Very friendly owners with a very pretty hotel. Service was good and they went out of their way to ensure our stay was excellent. Highly recommended

Yoshie-san really friendly and warm to us, she helps us a lot, listen to our stories and share her stories too!! If I travel to Sapporo again, I want to stay in here again~

Shabby House är ett 60 år gammalt, traditionellt japanskt hus i Sapporo. Stationen Nishisenjuyojo ligger 3 minuters promenad från boendet. A unique and charming place. The owner is super friendly and welcoming (he even let me borrow his bicycle), the room is pretty big for japan, the location is great, the breakfast is nice, and above all; the place is cosy and comforting.
