Our hosts Mr. Taguchi and Ms. Taguchi were very kind and gave us many information before our stay and also during our stay. They even drove us to the shop to buy a bus ticket. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The location is very quiet and beautiful. The bath is very very nice, a combination of modern shower and traditional bathrooms. The breakfast at Taguchi San residence was incredibly delicious. We will definitely come back here one day.

The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this guesthouse!

Situated a 15-minute drive from Yakushima Airport, La Isla Tasse is charming accommodation housed in a large American-style mansion. Free in-room Wi-Fi is available, and guests can unwind in a spacious lounge with comfortable sofas. An excellent place, the house is exceptionally clean. We had a bedroom that was very comfortable with a view on Anbo river. Breakfast is exceptional, traditional Japanese with an egg and ham, every day different options. The hosts are very, very nice people.

A 3-minute walk from Yakushima Airport, Tomarigi offers a bunk in a dorm room, a garden with a hammock and free Wi-Fi. It has a lounge with a flat-screen TV and a DVD player, as well as a shared kitchen. Tomarigi is a very special place, cozy, communal and like its name: the perfect resting tree. And Satomi-san, the owner, is the sweetest person imaginable.
