Situated in Yakushima, 12 km from Shiratani Unsuikyo, 屋久の宿 たぐち features rooms with air conditioning. Our hosts Mr. Taguchi and Ms. Taguchi were very kind and gave us many information before our stay and also during our stay. They even drove us to the shop to buy a bus ticket. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The location is very quiet and beautiful. The bath is very very nice, a combination of modern shower and traditional bathrooms. The breakfast at Taguchi San residence was incredibly delicious. We will definitely come back here one day.

Our hosts were wonderful and helped us with all our enquiries and communications, and were sincere in ensuring we had a lovely time on Amami.

Ubytovanie Guesthouse Coco Garage sa nachádza v destinácii Kirishima 5,8 km od miesta Kirishima Jingu Shrine a 19 km od miesta Ebino Plateau. We spent great moments here. Inside the house, it is pretty warm. There are coffee beans and everything ready for us to make a hand drip coffee. I can’t wait to make one cup. The coffee taste so good and smooth, maybe this is selected beans. I connected the Bluetooth speaker and playing Mayumi Itsuwa’s songs. Music harmonized with the lovely chalet interior, the atmosphere is so relaxing and immersive. Kihara-san is very nice. The Shinyu Onsen he recommended is gorgeous. The hot spring water is wonderful. It is milky-white, so natural and so great. I guess it come from a sulphur spring. In the daytime, we hiked around Onamiike and Ebino Plateau. The crater lake is amazing and there are great views along the trails. At night, we do BBQ in front of the chalet. We rent a Charcoal Konro Grill set, it is really convenient. We bought some Japanese Wagyu beef for yakiniku from supermarket near Kirishima. The beef is yummy, really delicious.

Situated a 15-minute drive from Yakushima Airport, La Isla Tasse is charming accommodation housed in a large American-style mansion. An excellent place, the house is exceptionally clean. We had a bedroom that was very comfortable with a view on Anbo river. Breakfast is exceptional, traditional Japanese with an egg and ham, every day different options. The hosts are very, very nice people.

A 3-minute walk from Yakushima Airport, Tomarigi offers a bunk in a dorm room, a garden with a hammock and free Wi-Fi. Tomarigi is a very special place, cozy, communal and like its name: the perfect resting tree. And Satomi-san, the owner, is the sweetest person imaginable.
