Situated in Shimanto-cho, EkimaehouseSamaru is a recently renovated accommodation, 13 km from Kaiyodo Hobby Museum Shimanto and 24 km from Monjudo Temple. My party had mechanical failure with one of our bikes when we arrived in the middle of a snow storm, and Ono-san went completely above and beyond to help us solve the problem and get where we wanted to go. The rooms were also very clean and nice. Thank you so much for your help and for a wonderful stay!

Situated in Konan in the Kochi region, Guesthouse Suisennosato features a garden. Everything!!! The host was a beautiful Gem of a woman who I just connected with, she has a good sense of humor and she honestly goes out of her way to make you feel at home , I highly recommend this place easy! Wifi brilliant, parking on-site, shower awesome, fridge great, bedding awesome, TV great and room was huge !! Air con worked awesome, 💪, and I would go back again easily ! ( And I'm eating more vegetables now 😀)...

Located a 12-minute walk or a 3-minute bus ride from JR Kochi Station north exit, Katsuo Guest House offers Japanese-style dormitory rooms with air conditioning. Maki was so friendly, welcoming and helpful! She recommended local restaurants for dinner, and invited me to join the tacoyaki party they were having that evening. The 8 bed dorm was lovely- gorgeous wood beds and cool decor. The beds were comfy and private. I was lucky since there were only 4 of us in the room, but I think it would be spacious enough even if it were full. Definitely the nicest guesthouse I’ve stayed at in Japan.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace, Washi Studio Kamikoya is located in Yusuhara. We brought the groceries for dinner up from the supermarket in Yusuhara and prepared it in the guesthouse. There are no shops nearby - best to prepare in advance and make sure you have what you need. A delicious breakfast was provided and waiting for us in the fridge when we got up in the morning. We prepared the eggs and enjoyed everything with the fresh-baked bread.

Guesthouse boro-ya is located in Toyonaga. The property has barbecue facilities, as well as a garden. Guests can enjoy mountain views. At the guest house, each room has a terrace. Yancy was incredibly friendly and helpful! Kids loved the chicken coop, yuzu tree, and fire pit. There were a lot of cute touches around the house! It was the perfect mountain escape for our family!

Located in the mountains surrounded by nature, Guesthouse En is located in Ochi at an elevation od 400 metres. The property features a garden and offers luggage storage space. The place is located in a calm and beautiful area, it is well maintained and the owners were really nice and helpful people.

In a great location and the owner was very kind. He gave us several recommendations to do around Kochi and helped us with our plans. We are already planning to stay here again when we visit kochi in the future 😃

すくもBOX has air-conditioned guest accommodation in Sukumo, 4.2 km from Sukumo City History Museum, 10 km from Enkoji Temple and 23 km from Kanjizaiji Temple. The owner is super friendly. He gave me a free bike rental to check out the area. Room was comfortable . If he offers to cook you dinner or breakfast (for an extra charge) I would highly recommend it! He is a great cook and always has the freshest fish. We had a good time talking about anime and Studio Ghibli.
