There is basic kitchen equipment, microwave and small oven which can do some easy cooking. Love the wooden bathroom and toilet, the pleasant natural smell. The room is right facing Mt. Aso. The scenery inside and outside the room is amazing, like a picture. The owners are very nice and helpful.

The decor is phenomenal, and so fun to look at everything, like a cute, calm museum. We loved the chill room upstairs where there's a huge collection of manga, English DVDs, massage chair. The roof terrace is cute with a view of Kumamoto castle all tiny and lit up. The host is super kind! Very very clean as well, and cute Ghibli music trinkles at the front entrance.

お宿でん吉, a property with a garden, is set in Minami Aso, 39 km from Kumamoto Castle, 40 km from Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei, as well as 18 km from Mount Aso. Staff were really friendly and go all out to make you feel comfortable. Although the house has a history of 150 years old, there were technology such as sound sustem, projector and even Karaoke over the BBQ dinner. Definitely recommended to have a stay

Hiromi and Stan were extremely hospitable! We arrived late and restaurants nearby were closed, Hiromi was so kind to make us a delicious dinner, which was the perfect comfort after a day of bustling travel with a one-year-old in tow. Breakfast was fantastic, the bed was so comfortable, and there was a massage chair in the room- be sure to give it a try. Hiromi showed us the traditional tea ceremony in an authentic tea room inside the accommodation, and even let me try on the traditional Japanese wedding dress, which was so sophisticated and stunning. Tina was such a lovely puppy, with whom our little one had had a lot of fun. Hiromi’s impeccable calligraphy graces the walls inside the house. Don’t forget to take a lot at the masterpieces.
