The trip to the bathroom during the night was somewhat difficult for us. The bedroom was on the upper floor in the lovely traditional Japanese house. The narrow stairway was challenging for us. There is ample room downstairs and perhaps owners would accommodate a request to put the bedding there.

Her cooking was amazing, totally delicious and beautiful washoku. when I asked for vegetarian washoku, she made me amazing dishes with local ingredients. She even dropped me off to the train station. Totally recommended!

(Metasequoia trees, cherry blossom, etc. ) Everything is as described in the property descruption. Even better than the pictures. Hosts do not speak english, however they are well prepared with a translator app.

Jonni`s Place se află în Sakamoto, la 14 km de Muntele Hiei și la 14 km de Templul Enryaku-ji. We really enjoyed our time at Jonni's!! There's heaps to do in the area, beautiful gardens to see in Sakamoto, a must see is the salt shop. Jonni is a great host, really helpful, funny and informative!

guest house AN is a 5-minute walk from Keihan Nakanosho Train Station and a 20-minute walk and train ride from JR Kyoto Station. Shuji and his wife are very friendly and hospitable. Though the 90-minute check-in procedure is a bit lengthy but Shuji does it so both of you and him can have a good experience. Once you check in, you’re pretty much left to your own device. Would come back to AN if I visit Otsu again.
