Totally recommended!

Instructions by the host were precise and clear before the checkin. The rooms were sparkling clean, hosts were super friendly and helpful! Location is great to multiple sights in the neighborhood. (Metasequoia trees, cherry blossom, etc. ) Everything is as described in the property descruption. Even better than the pictures. Hosts do not speak english, however they are well prepared with a translator app.

Located within 14 km of Mount Hiei and 14 km of Enryaku-ji Temple, Jonni`s Place provides rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Sakamoto. We really enjoyed our time at Jonni's!! There's heaps to do in the area, beautiful gardens to see in Sakamoto, a must see is the salt shop. Jonni is a great host, really helpful, funny and informative!

guest house AN is a 5-minute walk from Keihan Nakanosho Train Station and a 20-minute walk and train ride from JR Kyoto Station. Shuji and his wife are very friendly and hospitable. Though the 90-minute check-in procedure is a bit lengthy but Shuji does it so both of you and him can have a good experience. Once you check in, you’re pretty much left to your own device. Would come back to AN if I visit Otsu again.
