JamboHouse Lamu está en Lamu, cerca de Lamu Fort, Gallery Baraka, y Lamu Museum. Dispone de wifi gratis y terraza. Al llegar alguien me esperaba en el aeropuerto (servicio gratuito) para acompañarme al hostel. Esto siempre se agradece. El dueño, Arnold, que es viajero también, es un pozo sin fondo de información, que te facilita las cosas desde el primer momento. El hostel que es sencillo pero coqueto, está dentro del casco viejo. Llegar cada día y cada noche hasta allí es un placer viajero. El área es muy segura. Tiene un roof top muy aprovechable.

Jua House dispone de vistas a la ciudad, terraza y wifi gratis. Ofrece alojamiento con una ubicación ideal en Lamu, a poca distancia de Manda Beach, Playa de Shela y Mnarani House. I loved how clean it was and how much attention was paid to details. Thé staff, especially Amani were very friendly and helpful and helped me navigate my way around.

Este edificio histórico de estilo árabe se encuentra en la ciudad de Lamu, declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Un lugar maravilloso donde alojarte en Lamu. Su ubicación, la tranquilidad, la amabilidad del personal y de los dueños. La decoración es preciosa, cada rincón está cuidado con el más mínimo detalle. Puedes pasear por todo el alojamiento, leer en cualquier espacio... La habitación es muy amplia y la cama es cómoda. El desayuno para mi, lo mejor. Todo casero y riquísimo. Si vuelvo a Lamu, repetiré sin duda.

El Beytsalam, situado a 300 metros del fuerte de Lamu, ofrece alojamiento con salón común, terraza y cocina compartida. Hay WiFi gratuita. Breakfast was really nice, with a choice between Swahili and English style and it was served on the cozy rooftop terrace with views of the sea. I was lucky to be upgraded to their spacious and well-appointed "executive" suite on the third floor. Omar and Lilian were great to deal with at breakfast and with laundry etc., I appreciated the help they provided in many ways and look forward to coming again.

Wildebeeste Lamu dispone de alojamiento en Lamu, cerca de 18th Century Swahili House Museum y de Riyadha Mosque. This place never disappoints. This was my second time staying here and it still exceeded my expectations. The flat I stayed in was spacious and thoughtfully designed with some artful collections of antique Swahili style furniture. There was access to a private fully equipped kitchenette with an adjacent outdoor dining/ lounging area. The room was airy and well ventilated and also had a very spacious bathroom that had great shower pressure! Joshua is an exceptional host, responsive, warm and welcoming and very attentive. He has even made provisions for Solar lights in case of power outages which were infrequent during my stay and only lasted a few minutes at a time. The Wilderbeeste provides all the comforts and necessities of a home away from home yet its quirky and historical design provides a sense of adventure and novelty needed for a retreat! Can't wait to return for a longer stay!

El Banana House and Wellness Centre cuenta con piscina al aire libre y se encuentra en la localidad de Shela, a 2,7 km de la galería Baraka. El establecimiento se encuentra a 2,8 km del fuerte Lamu. This is a wonderful place to stay! It's a little haven from the busy lanes of Shela and Lamu Town .... so peaceful and calming. Its pretty garden, pool and relaxing ambience make it a stunning choice to totally unwind. Yoga and a massage spa are available. The staff are friendly and personable and the food is excellent. One evening we had a choice of a swahili meal cooked by local women ....incredible !! We loved our stay and were sad to leave.

Pwani House - Lamu Seafront se encuentra en Lamu, a 7 min a pie de Gallery Baraka y a menos de 1 km de Riyadha Mosque. Perfect sunrise over the water, beautiful spacious room. Super beautifully decorated! Loved our stay here!

Shela Bahari está en Shela, a pocos pasos de Manda Beach y a 3 min a pie de Playa de Shela, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, salón de uso común y terraza. Tawfiq and Baraka were great hosts! They took care of everything and made sure we had an easy, pleasant, and enjoyable stay. The hotel is in a beautiful location right on the water and gets a nice breeze. The restaurant downstairs has good food - both local and Western options - and a large selection of gelatos. We loved having an opportunity to relax, slow down a bit, enjoy the beauty of our surroundings, and interact with the locals. Tawfiq even organized for a boat to take us to and from the airport and for a sunset dhow ride on our second night.

Furaha House se encuentra a solo pocos pasos de Manda Beach y ofrece alojamiento en Shela con terraza y restaurante, además de cocina compartida. Our host Kazunga was fantastic! He cooked delicious meals for us, set up tours, and showed us around town.

El Mangrove House está situado frente al mar en la isla de Manda y cuenta con una zona de playa privada. También cuenta con zona de barbacoa y jardín. Our stay on Manda’s side at Mangrove House was truly wonderful. The location is unmatched, the peace and quiet are absolute. The staff is wonderful and so is the owner, super attentive and ready to help and share. The house is right in front of Shela and Peponi hotel, just a short boat trip away. Would absolutely go back, and recommend it to everyone going to Lamu!
