Location is nice, everything is clean, the roof top is a perfect place to chill, breakfast is delicious and Arnold and Fred were very helpful and smiling at any time. Do not hesitate !

This historical Arabian-style building is located in the UNESCO-listed town of Lamu. It is less than 300 metres from the seafront and 3 km from the white sandy beach. Very unique property! Loved everything about it

Beytsalam ligger 300 meter från Lamu Fort och erbjuder boende med en gemensam lounge, en terrass och ett gemensamt kök. WiFi är gratis. Rummen har balkong, TV och eget badrum med gratis badprodukter. Breakfast was really nice, with a choice between Swahili and English style and it was served on the cozy rooftop terrace with views of the sea. I was lucky to be upgraded to their spacious and well-appointed "executive" suite on the third floor. Omar and Lilian were great to deal with at breakfast and with laundry etc., I appreciated the help they provided in many ways and look forward to coming again.

Wildebeeste Lamu erbjuder rum i Lamu nära 18th Century Swahili House Museum och Riyadha Mosque. This place never disappoints. This was my second time staying here and it still exceeded my expectations. The flat I stayed in was spacious and thoughtfully designed with some artful collections of antique Swahili style furniture. There was access to a private fully equipped kitchenette with an adjacent outdoor dining/ lounging area. The room was airy and well ventilated and also had a very spacious bathroom that had great shower pressure! Joshua is an exceptional host, responsive, warm and welcoming and very attentive. He has even made provisions for Solar lights in case of power outages which were infrequent during my stay and only lasted a few minutes at a time. The Wilderbeeste provides all the comforts and necessities of a home away from home yet its quirky and historical design provides a sense of adventure and novelty needed for a retreat! Can't wait to return for a longer stay!

Banana House and Wellness Centre ligger i byn Shela, 2,7 km från Galleri Baraka. Här finns en utomhuspool. Boendet ligger 2,8 km från Lamu Fort. This is a wonderful place to stay! It's a little haven from the busy lanes of Shela and Lamu Town .... so peaceful and calming. Its pretty garden, pool and relaxing ambience make it a stunning choice to totally unwind. Yoga and a massage spa are available. The staff are friendly and personable and the food is excellent. One evening we had a choice of a swahili meal cooked by local women ....incredible !! We loved our stay and were sad to leave.

Pwani House - Lamu Seafront erbjuder rum i Lamu nära Gallery Baraka och Riyadha Mosque. Utöver gratis WiFi har boendet även en terrass och en inomhuspool. Perfect sunrise over the water, beautiful spacious room. Super beautifully decorated! Loved our stay here!

Shela Bahari ligger i Shela, en kort bit från Manda Beach och 3 minuters promenad från Shela Beach, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi, luftkonditionering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. Tawfiq and Baraka were great hosts! They took care of everything and made sure we had an easy, pleasant, and enjoyable stay. The hotel is in a beautiful location right on the water and gets a nice breeze. The restaurant downstairs has good food - both local and Western options - and a large selection of gelatos. We loved having an opportunity to relax, slow down a bit, enjoy the beauty of our surroundings, and interact with the locals. Tawfiq even organized for a boat to take us to and from the airport and for a sunset dhow ride on our second night.

Furaha House ligger bara en kort bit från Manda Beach, och erbjuder boende i Shela med en terrass, en restaurang samt ett gemensamt kök. Our host Kazunga was fantastic! He cooked delicious meals for us, set up tours, and showed us around town.

Mangrove House vetter mot havet på ön Manda och har ett privat strandområde. Bland de olika faciliteterna finns en grillplats och en trädgård. Our stay on Manda’s side at Mangrove House was truly wonderful. The location is unmatched, the peace and quiet are absolute. The staff is wonderful and so is the owner, super attentive and ready to help and share. The house is right in front of Shela and Peponi hotel, just a short boat trip away. Would absolutely go back, and recommend it to everyone going to Lamu!
