Breakfast was good. Having a balcony was also great even though it was on ground floor one could appreciate the grounds. Set in Nakuru, just 2.8 km from Westside Mall, Homebase gardens provides accommodation with a garden, a terrace and free WiFi. This holiday home features a shared lounge. The property was at a great location just outside of Nakuru (more quiet / safer than the city). The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and had all the necessary facilities. They had security and cameras around the property which made us feel safe. They have a kitchen and bar on the property serving great food from home grown produce. Cecilia (Host) was a stand out by being very helpful and appreciative of being your host and tried to do everything to make your stay more comfortable. She personally drove us to our next accommodation 20km away when no Ubers were around which helped us a lot. Everything is local prices (non of the non-resident prices often charged) and the breakfast included was delicious. Would recommend for anyone passing through.

Offering a garden and garden view, Monrovia Guest House is set in Nakuru, 5.6 km from Lake Nakuru National Park and 20 km from Egerton Castle. We have been very well welcomed and upgraded to the executive suite, which was much appreciated. The place is nice and the service very good. Our breakfast has been served in our room and was in very good quantity and healthy. Moreover, the restaurant facing the place offers good music and food which is perfect for a good overall experience. We will be back!

The lady is lovely and very helpful. It’s a little bit outside the town but there are matatus to Naivasha for 40KSH. Small shops and a supermarket (15-20min walking) are nearby. We went to Hells Gate Nationalpark with using Matatus (40KSH to town and 150KSH to Elsas Gate), but she can also help you to arrange private transport if you wish so. We had a great time and extended our stay :)
