The family that owns this accommodation are so kind and accommodating. They stayed up to get us from our train and we were welcomed with tea and cookies. We had the best meals we have had in Sri Lanka here, both breakfasts and dinner. The rooms are in their house, but you still feel like you have your own space. They directed us to a nearby waterfall and tea plantation and also graciously allowed us to stay a bit to wait for our departure train.

They were extremely kind, attentive and really want all their guests to have the best experience ever in their homestay and in the city. They were so helpful with ideas. This is an outstanding homestay.

I have the whole house to myself during my stay as Ajith (the owner) was making an extension to the guesthouse which he kindly let me know beforehand. I didn't mind as I know I will be out the whole day to do my tour. He suggested places to eat, (Dushan's Kitchen is a must try when you visit Nuwara Eliya), took me on tea factory tours, to Ramboda falls, and Single Tree Hill. We took our time and not once did I feel rushed so I enjoyed every minute of it. The guesthouse is on a hill but just a 3 minutes walk to the main street through some stairs. Buses comes every 20 minutes and can take you to town in 15 minutes for 50 rupees. Ajith and his wife were so kind and made my stay so pleasant! Will definitely stay here again!
