We had the best meals we have had in Sri Lanka here, both breakfasts and dinner. The rooms are in their house, but you still feel like you have your own space. They directed us to a nearby waterfall and tea plantation and also graciously allowed us to stay a bit to wait for our departure train.

They are home made and it was one of the best food I tried in Sri lanka. You can also order a home made dinner with stunning fish curry!

AGP home is an accommodation located in Nuwara Eliya, 1.8 km from Gregory Lake and 5.7 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. Comfy bed and pillows, clean bathroom with hot water, generous breakfast. I have the whole house to myself during my stay as Ajith (the owner) was making an extension to the guesthouse which he kindly let me know beforehand. I didn't mind as I know I will be out the whole day to do my tour. He suggested places to eat, (Dushan's Kitchen is a must try when you visit Nuwara Eliya), took me on tea factory tours, to Ramboda falls, and Single Tree Hill. We took our time and not once did I feel rushed so I enjoyed every minute of it. The guesthouse is on a hill but just a 3 minutes walk to the main street through some stairs. Buses comes every 20 minutes and can take you to town in 15 minutes for 50 rupees. Ajith and his wife were so kind and made my stay so pleasant! Will definitely stay here again!
