Kirinda Heaven - Yala, a property with an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, is set in Kirinda, 700 metres from Kirinda Beach, less than 1 km from Nidangala Beach, as well as 14 km from Tissa Wewa. I stayed one night at Kirinda Heaven. It’s a beautiful, family run property. The property is fairly new so all of the accommodations are modern. It also has a stand alone bungalow room, which I stayed in, which is like having one’s own little home! There is a beautiful pool on the property as well. The family that runs the property is great and will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable.

Located within less than 1 km of Tissa Wewa and 25 km of Bundala Bird Sanctuary in Tissamaharama, Tissa Rainbow Guest & Yala provides accommodation with seating area. Stayed there a couple weeks back Positives - spotless amazing bedroom with all the facilities - amazing friendly host who gave us Cocunut water on arrival as promised in other reviews - GET THE FOOD THERE....it was a feast and was absolutely delicious great value sri lanken food. - great location near the fruit bat trees. - Definitely book the safari with these guys. Asanka was an amazing and caring guide who really seemed to have all the know of where everything was. We saw 28 elephants and two leopards and many more thanks to this guy. 10/10 for the day No negatives. Its not a social place really, but was perfect for us at the time. Just positives for these guys.

Boasting river views, Riverview Cabana Tissamaharama features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa. Great spot to base yourself for Yala Park. The Cabana has 2 rooms available to book, one on the top floor with a terrace and one on the ground floor. My friend and I each booked one of the rooms which are equal in size and amenities. Very clean and a decent shower, good ac and wifi. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. She helped us with booking a Yala Park Tour. Best breakfast! Overall, great price and spot for access to Yala.

Offering a garden and lake view, Blue Sky Hotel Yala is located in Yala, 3 km from Tissa Wewa and 28 km from Bundala Bird Sanctuary. Hotel is very clean and provides u great hospitality. Hotel room was very big and nice view. The hotel owner is very helpful and will guide u throughout your stay.The hotel provides u almost every facilities from good rooms to Yala park safari trip, jeep safari. Also safari guide was very great experienced with good knowledge guide. we saw many wild animals and Leopard. Owner provided us with tasty dinner from his restaurant. Overall experience was awesome.I'll recommend this hotel to every couple and families:). You wont regret,just be there:)

Located just 2.5 km from Tissa Wewa, Blue Birds Tissa & Yala safari provides accommodation in Tissamaharama with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a 24-hour front desk. The owner was very kind, he even took us nearby with his car to watch some crocodiles. The cleanliness of the room was exceptional. He arranged a morning safari for us, with a good driver who explained a lot of things about the animals.

Warmly and friendly host couple，simple and clean room,welcome drinks,delicious food,the beautiful garden,and Debarawewa lake in front of the hotel gate.You can go around the lake in the morning and dusk, bird watching and enjoy the scenery of lake.We had a great time here.We would like to come back again.

Boasting lake views, Lake Face Cabana offers accommodation with balcony, around 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Our time in this place was a genuinely beautiful experience. Equipped with binoculars, we enjoyed observing birds by the lake during the day. In the evening, the owner generously offered us a ride to a larger lake, where we had the opportunity to look at the bird nests and trees full of bats in the middle of the lake. The family was exceptionally helpful, providing us with delicious meals and engaging in friendly conversations. Additionally, they organised a memorable safari for us. We felt truly welcomed and embraced by their hospitality.

Featuring free WiFi, New Vilard Rest is set in Tissamaharama, 2 km from Tissa Wewa (Lake). Rooms are equipped with a private bathroom fitted with a bath. There is a 24-hour front desk at the property.... Very clean room and bathroom. Everything was very clean. The host was very welcoming and received us with wood apple juice. The room was exactly as described, with a good AC working perfectly and hot shower. The room was spacious, the breakfast was good and enough to start the day. For the day with the safari, the host provided breakfast when getting back, which was very nice. The homemade dinner was very tasty and abundant. Also the host helped us to take the bus nearby the accommodation. Highly recommended if you go to Tissa and want a peaceful place to stay. The only minus could be that WiFi works well outside, in the room the signal is weak.

Featuring garden views, V Cabanas features accommodation with terrace, around 2.6 km from Tissa Wewa. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The family run property ticked every box. Service first class, the meals were to die for & so much of it. The rooms are huge & exceptional. Cleanliness was tops. Right down to the driver/guide for yala safari who excellent with his knowledge & found sightings of leopards with great driving skills. Thanks for everything guys. Will definitely come here again
