Before arriving, I was worried I was too far from Old Town, but I ended up preferring the location of this apartment over a more central one. It is a three-minute walk to the shoreline with beautiful water and tons of families. But it is also removed from the crowds and noise. This is by far the best place I have stayed during my travels. (I did not have a car and was traveling solo, and I always felt safe and in good hands.)
